To become spiritual, first you need to become worldly. Yes! Know how to live in this world and in the age of speed and technology. Learn how to calibrate your day and relationships?
But do you know what it means to live a clean, good life. Most importantly, discover how to connect yourself with the paratmatma, if you call yourself a jivatma...

As you get 'aware' and start moving towards God almighty, realising that you are a soul who wants to reach God or live in the ways ordained by Him, you need guidance.
That light of the Gurus whose selfless quest is to show the path to better living, in fact a higher living is the need of the hour. Evolving every moment is what you owe yourself. For then the soul awakens...

Vivekam & vairagyam are not difficult or distant concepts. Neither are they aspects that a householder needn't know. You can be an accomplished grahastha, yet live in God's ways.
You don't have to become a hermit or sit in a cave. Are there any cheat sheets to get there? Yes, but first you need to know your purpose, as a spark from the divine... and that eternal Power who can guide you.

"A great Sanskrit poet said that time with its three divisions of past, present and future do not exist for the saints of God. Why is this? The sage has no ego. Time exists only for an individual, for a non -existent person how can it exist? Existing in one division will not be possible as the saint has transcended time and talks just as we talk about the past and present about the future. Most of us have seen this happening in our interactions with Sri Sathguru.
The three divisions of desa, kala and karana (space, time and causation) do not affect them. When Brahman is all pervading
and they have merged with him, then in which place are they situated? When they live in all the three divisions of time, how do we date them? And can such a person be created? He is everywhere and in everything. Only if there is a difference can there be created and non- created beings. When everywhere there is the same Being, when every word spoken is his, to whom and how does He speak?
He speaks to His servants in a language different from human tongues and before He speaks they know what He will say and act accordingly."
-Swami Shrihariprasad

Traditionally, a Guru is known as the remover of darkness. But the Guru is all things to all men. Sri Sathguru Maa is loved and revered by each devotee in a different way. And Sathguru Maa is a part of their lives in different ways...
There are two types of sanyasa, one known as Vividisa Sanyasa and the other as Vidwat Sanyasa. The first is taken by a seeker in order to further his quest for the Divine. By taking sanyasa, he is freed from the irksome restrictions that society places upon him...
Saranagati or the state of absolute surrender is the natural state of all beings. When we are too tired to think, when we are in a state of happiness and don’t wish to see or think of anything, when we see breathtaking scenery or read a beautiful piece that takes our minds of everything else, then also we are in a state of saranagati but that is an unconscious state of saranagati...
It is the feeling that the world is one, a freedom from the thought that this is mine and that is theirs. This is possible only if we know that this world does not belong to you or me but to God. That is a Being, a reality, higher than anyone of us, a Being above us all but whom we unconsciously or consciously look up to for help, solace and justice...
Sri Krishna speaks of bhava samshuddhi, purity of attitude or motive. Why do we do this and why do we do that? The action itself, which is what we see with our gross eyes, is the final part of a process that starts with a thought...
Sri Sathguru’s belief that all that happens is the prasada of God and it is for her good. The sages of God are scattered all over the world but they all look only in one direction – Godward. For the Rishi, for the Sathguru, one thousand moons and a moon mean the same since everything is reflected light and Sri Sathguru looks to the source of all light and ignores all else...
